I have a credit on imbd for a film that I thought was going to be a fun passion project and a good opportunity to meet people in the community. Turns out I regret making this decision. My friend connected me with a director who offered me a role that I thought would just be as a background character. Apparently the the…

I've done about 25 movies/shows, although acting has always been my secondary career. It's not exactly an easy or stable job, so I own an art gallery and work i…

I’m a trained theater actor and feel very comfortable on stage, but on camera and especially closeups I tense up! Any tips and tricks to relaxing on camera? Obviously ‘the more time you spend in front of it the better it gets’ and ‘pretend it isn’t there’ is useful, but wondering if there is some other wisdom here. *Th…

I keep seeing people in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and even 70s asking whether it’s too late to start acting. As an actress, writer, and aspiring producer, I actually think those ages can be incredibly valuable. When you’re in your teens, 20s, and 30s, the pool is huge. There are tons of beautiful, confident, camera-ready ac…
