I received an invitation to submit an eco cast self-tape this morning just to have the invitation withdrawn almost 10 minutes later… I know this industry is full of rejection and requires one to develop a thick spine, so to speak, but I can’t help but feel rejected by this… has this happened to anyone else? It just see…

**Nightstar Gambit** is an indie arcade space roguelike styled like an anime comedy, heading for a commercial release on Steam. I've been informed by an experienced acting coach that actors are using AI for self tapes. Is that really the case? That to me is the lowest of the low. Zero art, zero creativity. At that point you may as well quit.

Hi all! So, I got an audition for a feature film and did my usual script analysis and note-taking. The breakdown also included the full script, so I decided to read through it.
