Should I start acting classes in January

I feel like the holidays are too convoluted for me, and I don’t have enough time. Things wind down on the holidays and become so slow. I’m an actor in training who’s in Georgia. I’m wondering which month is best January or February

Self taping question

I’ve been listening to the Audrey helps actors Podcast 125 and she discusses that you can slice a ST if you like the beginning of one tape with the ending of another if the performance allows for it and I never knew this was an option and you can still book that way? Does anyone have any opinions about this? Is this do…

There's truth to the adage, "It's who you know."

Today, I was contacted by someone I did improv with years ago.  She has written a play, and asked if I would like to read for it.  Obviously, I said yes.  Interestingly, it got me thinking about some past roles I had where I was just asked to do them.  I didn't have to audition at all; I was just offered the role.  I p…
