Hi, I just went live on Talent Link yesterday morning and received on email from an agent within the first two hours. However, since then, I haven’t heard anything. My resume and materials are almost non existent, but I’ve done my best to showcase my talent through my own videos, and I was wondering if it’s really just…

I received this text from my rep after I politely asked a question about how they're submitting me. How would you feel about this, because I'm reeling and it feels aggressive. To the point I don't want to speak to them. Thanks in advance: Yes, I think you should call me because I want to address your text because your…

This one’s a bit of a long one and I’ll keep it vague. I’ve lived in London for years now and have been acting for about 3 years. I have a great agent, a flexible job and am in classes. Now the industry is quite slow at the moment, so I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on life. I’m finally not in education so I don’t ne…

Venting 33y-o(f) here. Everyday I feel like my acting dream isn't going to go anywhere and it makes me feel more and more depressed. I only got acting management a month ago and have been taking classes for 5+ years. I see all these actors I love and even some of my classmates, booking roles left and right and I feel i…

I recently got cast as a voice actor for a minor character in a small project I was really interested in, my first ever role! But my character doesn't appear till *kind of* late into the project.. And I generally wanna get my voice on that big screen as soon as possible. Basically, I wanna get into as many projects as…

I was very fortunate to book a major feature film as a supporting character. The film is releasing soon so I started an agent hunting blitz emailing agencies in the core markets. We filmed 2 years ago but its only releasing now. I got a lot of replies, often same day or same hour I sent the email..but what really struc…

I've been out of acting and a little rusty for about 10 years now. My last audition was for Next Star Production maybe a year ago- kind of felt like it was not as legit especially when they wanted me to pay a load some for being selected. I'm on casting NetWorks with my agency and seem to never find gigs. I just want t…

Hi all - I was working on a set today where the lead actor was puffing something into their eyes to make themselves cry, sort of like a tear stick, but it looked like a small mister or blower of air. It had a small pump with a red tip at the end to direct the air into the eyes. I am SO curious as to what it is, as Ive…

I’m just coming here to vent a little bit. I’ve seen a few actors lie on their Actors Access/Resume about their credits, where the credit is streaming, and/or the size of their credit.
